A New Era of Spaceflight
With Space Race 2.0 upon us, and so many space exploration missions being announced, Space Perspective is one of the most accessible forms of near-space travel that allows you to experience the views of space without the years of training. The six-hour journey takes you to space via Spaceship Neptune, a highly safe and smooth pressurized, climate-controlled capsule called the SpaceBalloon that holds up to nine passengers (eight guests and one pilot). It takes you to the edge of Earth’s atmosphere where you can view the Earth from above through 1.5-meter windows with a glass of Champagne in hand.
The Experience
Spaceship Neptune is a carbon-neutral capsule that is lifted to the edge of space by a renewable hydrogen SpaceBalloon–a technology that NASA has used for decades–and allows you to view Earth from 100,000 feet above. The plush capsule has a bar, bathroom and even Wi-Fi, so you can document your experience from start to end, and passengers gaze out large, curved windows floating just 12 mph.
